1. Validity of Quotations

Quotations provided by Roofers ‘R’ Us are valid for 30 days.

2. Guarantees

  • Workmanship: Roof replacements are covered by a certified guarantee for five (5) years upon full payment of the invoice.
  • Roof Repairs & Maintenance: A separate certified guarantee on workmanship is provided for roof repairs and maintenance, valid for two (2) years following full settlement of the invoice.
  • Exclusions:
  • No guarantee is offered for pre-existing issues like rust, dampness, or cracks.
  • Tampering with the waterproofing by a third party voids the guarantee.

3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit to cover materials is required upon acceptance of the quote.
  • The balance is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Overdue accounts will be charged interest at prime plus 2%.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Site Access: The client must ensure timely site access for the duration of the project.
  • Furniture Removal: The client is responsible for removing furniture, fittings, fixtures, and vehicles to prevent any potential damage during the project.
  • Hidden Problems: The quote excludes unforeseen or hidden issues that may require additional work. In such cases, a revised quote will be provided.
  • Change Orders: Any additional work or alterations requested by the client beyond the initial quote will require a new quote from Roofers 'R' Us.
  • Skylight Disclaimer: While extreme caution is exercised, Roofers 'R' Us is not liable for broken or damaged skylight glass.
  • Roof Maintenance: The client is responsible for keeping the roof and gutters free from leaves and debris, including ensuring unobstructed stormwater outlets.

5. Limitations of Liability

  • Roofers 'R' Us is not liable for:
  • Errors or omissions within the quotation.
  • Unspecified areas not included in the quote.
  • The structural integrity of the roof.

6. Amendments

All amendments to the quotation must be made in writing and signed by both parties.

7. Client Satisfaction

If you are not entirely satisfied with the work performed, please inform Roofers ‘R’ Us in writing within 7 days of completion to info@roofersrus.co.za. We will strive to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
