The Details
An asbestos roof coating is a monolithic, fully adhered, fluid-applied roofing membrane designed to protect and extend the lifespan of ageing asbestos roofs. These coatings form a seamless, seamless, and monolithic layer over the existing asbestos surface, providing a durable and watertight barrier. Many roof coatings are elastomeric, meaning they possess elastic properties. This elasticity allows them to stretch and flex with minor roof movement caused by temperature fluctuations, wind loads, and building
settlement, without cracking or tearing. This flexibility significantly enhances the coating’s durability and resistance to damage.
